Web summit
Magazine 2023
After each Web Summit event, I would create an event-specific magazine featuring the biggest speakers and news stories. The aim was to showcase the best of the event, generating ‘FOMO’ for the next year and thus driving ticket sign-ups.
These magazines were then distributed to the entire Web Summit audience, by email, ad and social, and were downloaded tens of thousands of times.
Typically each magazine featured 15 to 20 items of 100 to 250 words each, covering a range of topics affecting tech, business and entertainment, and always striving to feature diverse and balanced voices.
I worked with the design team to create something that was both visually arresting and easy to read.
