Collision After hours

From night summit to after hours

We realised that Web Summit’s North American event, Collision, had a problem with its name: it was called Night Summit, but took place in daylight.

I proposed renaming it After Hours, to evoke the same party feeling of the night time event, but without requiring the sun to set.

To launch the new name, the design team came up with a series of interstitial graphics to play at the event’s stages. Featuring a rolling ball, I came up with a series of copy iterations combining descriptions of the ball’s movements with slightly old-school ways of saying “let’s head out”.
